About Me

I am a self-taught technology enthusiast with a passion for learning and creating. My journey started in microbiology, but my curiosity led me to explore the world of technology. Over the years, I have built a strong foundation in system administration, programming, and cybersecurity.

Through continuous learning via online courses and hands-on projects, I have gained expertise in Active Directory, VMWare, Azure, AWS, Sophos, Microsoft 365, and various security and endpoint management solutions. I am proficient in Python for data analysis and JavaScript for web development. My experience extends to data manipulation using Pandas, NumPy, and SciPy, as well as working with large datasets in Excel.

Beyond technology, I love tinkering with new projects, building computers, gaming, and listening to cybersecurity podcasts. I also enjoy exploring different interests such as reading, working on my physical and mental health, and challenging myself with complex learning experiences—including making bread from scratch!

Updated and modernized an old website with new visuals and a more user-friendly interface; designed and debugged several JavaScript web apps; managed the domain hosting platform, PHP server, and updated files.
Contributed to deploying additional sub-pages on the employer's website and integrating AWS Chatbot for interactions and AWS Connect for call center integration.

Manage hardware, software, security, and network infrastructure, optimize servers, and monitor network traffic.

Raspberry Pi Homelab

Configured a Raspberry Pi as a homelab using Docker to run multiple containers.
Installed and managed containers such as Pi-hole to block ads and reroute home network traffic.
Set up a JDownloader service for remote downloads to a connected drive.
Implemented OpenMediaVault to create a simple NAS and a compact Plex server for media streaming.

Home Network Configuration

Disabled the AP feature on the ISP-provided router and installed a personal router for enhanced control.
Configured multiple SSIDs, guest networks, and device priority for optimized connectivity.
Set up custom DHCP IP ranges and rerouted network traffic through a dedicated Pi-hole server.

Portfolio Website Construction

Designed and developed this portfolio website with a focus on clean, responsive design.
Integrated creative ideas and interactive functionality while keeping the interface simple.
Incorporated modern design elements such as iconography, bold typography, and smooth scrolling.
